1. For 720P Cameras
1.1Upload Speed
Each camera requires at least 1Mbps of upload speed per camera or 2Mbps of upload speed for each camera when using the cloud service.
You can test your speed by being connected to the same router as the cameras then click on the speed test http://speed.googlefiber.net/
WiFi Signal is measured in dBms the cameras need a signal between -30dBm and -60dBm. When you test the signal you want to be as close as possible to the location of the camera, if possible have it touching or right next to the camera.
On android you can use the app called WiFi Analyzer
Once installed open the app and it should land on the WiFi Channel page
Tap on the "Eye Icon" on the top right and select signal meter
Once selected the meter should display on the screen select what WiFi to test at the bottom
Good signal would be in the green area.
On iOS you can use the app called AirPort Utility
Once the app is installed, open the settings page and scroll down to the settings of the airport utility app, turn on the Wi-Fi Scanner
Open the airport utility app, tap on Wi-Fi Scan then scan on the top right. After tapping on scan it will show you a list of the available networks along with signal information.
Good signal range would be -30 to -60 dbm
