Instruction before you begin 1. Make sure the cameras are plugged in and the indicator light is blinking green 2. Confirm your phone is connected to the WiFi network that you want the cameras to connect to ○ Make sure it is a 2.4 network ( if you are unsure please reach out to your internet service provider) Procedure 1. Press the plus sign on the top right and select QR Code 2.Tap the "Start Installation or Next" at the bottom of the screen then tap on "Next" till you get to the screen asking for your password 3. Once it is asking you to enter the password confirm the wifi network at the bottom is the 2.4 network. 4. Once the password has been entered tap "Next" 5. The QR code will appear on the screen 6. Hold the QR code 8 inches in front of the camera for 30 seconds as steady as you can 7. After the camera has read the QR code the indicator light will be solid blue and the app will ask you to name the device. ...

You can test your speed by being connected to the same router as the cameras then click on the speed test http://speed.googlefiber.net/ 1.2 WiFi Signal WiFi Signal is measured in dBms the cameras need a signal between -30dBm and -60dBm. When you test the signal you want to be as close as possible to the location of the camera, if possible have it touching or right next to the camera. On android you can use the app called WiFi Analyzer Once installed open the app and it should land on the WiFi Channel page Tap on the "Eye Icon" on the top right and select signal meter Once selected the meter should display on the screen select what WiFi to test at the bottom Good signal would be in the green area. On iOS you can use the app called AirPort Utility Once the app is installed, open the settings page and scroll down to the settings of the airport utility app, turn on the Wi-Fi Scanner Open the airport utility app, tap on Wi-Fi Scan then scan on the top right. After tapping on scan it will show you a list of the available networks along with signal information. Good signal range would be -30 to -60 dbm 2.
